Making what is complex appear simple.

About

Presently, I am lead UX Designer for the OCLC next-generation library management SaaS product, WorldShare. Combining librarian interviews, performing usability studies, visioning, and soliciting advisory board input, to craft a single cohesive user experience between twelve separate components.

I mentor, coach, and review the work of four other designers in the development of this cloud-based product.

Was a member of the management team at Fat Spaniel Technologies that secured funding from first-tier VC firm. I have developed innovative and elegant SaaS solutions for complex energy data monitoring presentations.

Some of the corporations seeking our expertise in this emerging market were: BP Solar, Cal/EPA, Pacific Gas & Electric, Queens Botanical Garden, SHARP, Walmart, and Warner Bros.

At Cisco, I proposed and was asked to lead a visual elements design library for their software products. Directed web & print ad campaigns, product collateral & packaging, 3-dimensional site installations, and company properties including trade show booth & traveling semi truck demo.

Also ran usability studies and participated in post mortem roundtables to determine success/failure factors.
